Personal Information

• For the spelling and pronunciation of my name, please refer to the CV; my online pseudonym is v1ncent19 in most sites, where v1n is used to avoid duplication, and cent19 is from the year of my undergraduate enrollment. You can call me “Vincent” or “Vincent nineteen”.
• I am from Shenzhen, which is a city close to Hong Kong.
• SZSHS @ 2013 - THU @ 2019 - NU @ 2023。Shared feature: the theme color of the schools are all purple
• Previously a physics student, now a statistics student.

Hobbies

• Piano; recent practising: The People United Will Never Be Defeated! by Frederic Rzewski.
• Linguistics enthusiast; although I started learning languages for travel, I found it interesting to study the evolution of language phonetics and its relationship with culture; unfortunately, due to language talent, I have always been at the level of “just having fun”; you can see some of my related notes here (only Chinese version available).
• Swimming, badminton, billiards, shooting, cycling; all are amateur levels and you are welcome to join me.
• Calligraphy (mostly hard tip); the main fonts I follow are 唐小楷灵飞经 and 董其昌信心铭. Currently, the level has greatly degraded, some samples see here.
