Personal Information

• For the spelling and pronunciation of my name, please refer to the CV; my online pseudonym is v1ncent19 on most sites, where v1n is used to avoid duplication, and cent19 comes from the year of my undergraduate enrollment. You can call me "Vincent" or "Vincent nineteen".
• I am from Shenzhen, a city close to Hong Kong.
• SZSHS @ 2013 → THU @ 2019 → NU @ 2023. (Shared feature: the theme colors of the schools are all purple.)
• Previously a physics student, now a statistics student.

Hobbies

• Piano; recently practising: The People United Will Never Be Defeated! by Frederic Rzewski.
• Linguistics enthusiast; although I started learning languages for travel, I found it interesting to study the evolution of language phonetics and its relationship with culture; unfortunately, due to language talent, I have always been at the level of "just having fun"; you can find some of my related notes under Blog (Chinese only for now).
• Swimming, badminton, billiards, shooting, cycling; all amateur level — you are welcome to join me.
• Calligraphy (mostly hard tip); the main styles I follow are 唐小楷灵飞经 and 董其昌信心铭. The level has degraded a lot; some samples are here.
